Has three states of matter, namely solid, liquid and gas. Solid and liquid has mass and occupies space. These substances can be measured using the mass balance. 
Gas can also be measured by its mass, although very small. This also proves that the gas has mass. 
Based on the volume and shape, each substance has different properties. Possess solid volume and shape remain. Liquid has a fixed volume and nature of the changing shape. As for the gas properties change volume and shape change.
